Confirmed public-branch additions
Patch 0.21.321 added Tyrannosaurus to the Evrima public branch. The official changelog documented a light muzzle swing on RMB, a heavy muzzle swing by holding RMB, a powerful crush by holding LMB, and an ambush action on Spacebar after reaching subadult.
The same release also highlighted a revised menu and in-game HUD in progress, a player-report function after death, clams, two reproduction mutations, island-layout work, foliage updates, and a long list of nesting, movement, audio, pounce, patrol, and interaction fixes.
What changes in the field
An apex release changes traffic before it changes theory. Players concentrate around growth resources, test the new controls, and take fights they would normally avoid. Smaller creatures should treat obvious apex routes as high-noise areas until the release rush settles.
For Tyrannosaurus players, the control set rewards deliberate commitment. Light pressure, heavy pressure, crush, and the timed ambush state are different decisions; repeatedly holding the strongest-looking input without an exit plan is not a complete strategy.
What to relearn
- Read tap and hold inputs separately; they produce different actions.
- Expect subadult progression to change the available movement option.
- Do not assume an old nesting video reflects the mutations or egg behavior of this build.
- Use the death-report tool where appropriate, but still read server-specific reporting rules.
