Why Update 6.5 remains important
Released in June 2023, Update 6.5 is a useful historical marker for Evrima. It introduced four playables—Beipiaosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Gallimimus, and Troodon—and accompanied the project's move to Unreal Engine 5.
The four additions did not fill the same role. Beipiaosaurus expanded semi-aquatic survival, Ceratosaurus brought carcass-oriented carnivore pressure, Gallimimus emphasized speed and group movement, and Troodon introduced a small coordinated venom hunter.
How to use this old note
Use it to understand when these creatures entered the roster and why older videos suddenly begin discussing their matchups. Do not use a 2023 guide as proof of a current damage value, diet list, growth time, or map route.
What stays useful
- The creatures' broad ecological identities remain helpful starting points.
- Their exact tuning must be checked against the current public branch.
- Old map footage needs a map label before it becomes navigation advice.
- Engine-transition troubleshooting from the release period should not be treated as a current universal fix.
Guide changes
Each of the four creatures has its own current dossier rather than sharing a frozen 2023 summary. The profiles connect to current controls, strengths, weaknesses, route habits, and review boundaries.
